Learn about the different field types you can add to documents via the SignQuick API.

Available Field Types

Full signature field. Signers can draw, type, or upload their signature. Supports both freehand and text-based signatures.

Initials field for page-by-page acknowledgment. Smaller than a full signature, typically placed at the bottom of each page.

Free-text input field. Use for names, addresses, titles, or any custom text the signer needs to provide.

Date picker field. Automatically populated with the signing date, or allow the signer to choose a custom date.

Boolean checkbox field. Use for terms acceptance, opt-ins, or any yes/no acknowledgment.

Dropdown selection field. Define a list of options for the signer to choose from. Useful for titles, departments, or predefined choices.

Use x, y coordinates (in points) to position fields precisely on the PDF

Set required: true to prevent submission without completing the field

Use regex validation on text fields for email, phone, or custom formats

Pre-fill fields with known data to speed up the signing process
